Heavyweight Boxer Dillian Whyte takes to the stage : 2018 PDC World Darts Championships! at the (Ally Pally) Alexandra Palace, London.

Gurney admitted "Winning the Players Championship has given me a bit more confidence but I don't let myself get carried away - that is in the past.

"I just take one game at a time. I don't think about winning tournaments, just matches, and I'm happy that I've done that and gone through and i'm in the next round."

Vincent van der Voort dumped out Darren Webster winning 3 sets to 0..

Belgian Dimitri Van Den Bergh breezed past American qualifier Chuck Puleo.

Robert Thornton knocked out in the first round by Swedish debutant Daniel Larsson.

Thornton only managed to average 87 in the match. Now Larsson sets up a tasty contest against Kim Huybrechts.

Austria's Rowby-John Rodriguez won at the Ally Pally, his first time in four attempts defeating Ricky Evans (3-1).

Heavyweight Boxing Week : The Body Snatcher Dillian Whyte turned up at the darts to promote his upcoming fight against Derek Chisora #WhyteChisora2 which will be live from the O2, London.
